The Great Dog Pack
The Great Dog Pack is a children’s book inspired by the real dogs that were part of Alex’s life.
Told through the experiences of a group of German Shepherds, the story follows how each new dog joins the pack, learns from the ones who came before, and eventually passes those lessons on. It’s a story about connection, growth and the quiet ways we shape one another over time.
The book is rooted in real moments—drawn from years of living with these dogs and watching the relationships that developed between them. While the story is written for children, the themes will feel familiar to anyone who has experienced the bond between people and animals.
The Great Dog Pack is also closely tied to the mission of the Alex Lebovic Foundation. Proceeds from the book support the foundation’s work in veterinary education, childhood cancer research and animal welfare
